We are called Off Lease Motors because the majority of the vehicles that we carry were previously leased. The reason that we buy our vehicles this way, is that when anyone leases a vehicle through a franchise dealership, there is a limit to how much they can drive the vehicle and they are required to take it in to the dealership for regular service and maintenance. By buying directly from the banks who handle the leases for franchise dealers, we ensure that the vehicles we carry have been well-maintained and are in excellent condition.
When a dealership leases a car, they have a vested interest in ensuring that the vehicle remains in good condition throughout the term of the lease contract. So, by hand-picking our inventory in this way, we are able to ensure that the cars we sell are in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically.
In addition to the higher overall quality of the vehicles, previous leases will also often-times come with remaining factory warranty which is very important. This means that the new owner can purchase an extended warranty at a greatly reduced cost, or potentially avoid the need to purchase one all-together depending on the level of coverage they’re looking for.
